The Ohio State Business Law Journal is accepting submissions for its 18th Volume of the print edition and the 3d Volume of the online edition, both of which will be published in Fall 2023.

For Vol. 18 of the print edition, we are seeking articles on any corporate law or corporate law adjacent topic. We currently have works related to ESG, Corporate Social Responsibility, and Back-Pay Settlements. However, all works concerning the intersection of business and law are appreciated.

For Vol. 3 of the online edition, we will launch the inaugural issue of our rebranded online journal, emphasizing the intersection of sports, entertainment, and law. Therefore, we are seeking work related to this field.

You can submit via Scholastica.

Thank you, and we look forward to reading your work!

Hello.

I recently submitted an article I would like you to consider for publication. It is called “Bittner, FBARs, and the IRS: The Supreme Court Got This Right!”

It looks at a recent U.S. Supreme Court case where the court had to decide whether, in filing defective Foreign Bank Account Reports with the IRS, the taxpayer was liable for $50,000 in penalties for the five erroneous reports, or for $2,720,000 which was based on the 272 bank accounts he owned.

As Foreign Bank account reporting has been a hot-button topic in recent years, I am sure you agree that this is a timely article. I hope you like it and can publish it.

Best regards,

Harvey J. Gilmore, LL.M., J.D., MST.
