What resources do you use to help identify and avoid predatory journals?

This question came up as the Scholastica team worked on a recent blog post to make more clear that as we support the Open Access movement, we also have a responsibility and a desire to stop predatory publishing.

We link to Jeffrey Beall's oft-cited criteria for predatory Open Access journals, which is is a great list of qualities and behaviors that denote predatory publishers.

Beall focuses on Open Access journals – what about for non-OA? And are there any other resources authors or reviewers use to verify that a journal, especially a new journal, is not a predatory publisher?
