Hello.

I just submitted a piece about the IRS called "The Kinder, Gentler IRS? Where?"

It looks at the IRS' reputation as a taxpayer-unfriendly institution that is far more concerned with winning taxpayer equity. It also looks att some notorious cases of heinous taxpayer treatment at the hands of the IRS as well as the recent news that the IRS audits lower income taxpayers five times higher than anyone else.

With the recent issue of IRS funding being a current political topic, I think you will find this a timely piece.

I hope you like it.

Best regards,

CORRECTION: It looks  at the IRS' reputation as a taxpayer-unfriendly institution that is far more concerned with winning THAN WITH taxpayer equity.
